Taking Vanuatu handicrafts Into New Zealand & Australia

Australia and New Zealand have strict biosecurity regulations and tourists are often confused about what they will be allowed to take back home with them. To address this three posters have been created explaining what is and isn't acceptable. All of the beautiful handicrafts pictured here, as well as the coloured feathers used in custom dancing, can be taken into Australia and New Zealand. Please Note: While you may find Trumpet shells (also known as Triton shells) offered for sale in local markets, it is illegal to buy them in Vanuatu.
